GA grew many varieties of apples, peaches, nectarines and apricots in his years of farming. At the time, GA grew his fruit for warehouse sales.

Nicholson's Orchard Fresh

Nothing beats the taste of fresh fruit picked right from the tree. It's sweeter, crisper, more aromatic and more delicious than fruit that has been stored. Over the years, people driving over Blewett Pass (U.S. 97) have stopped by our Nicholson's and asked if they could buy a box or two of our freshly picked fruit. These people came back year after year becoming their first regular customers.

While most of the fruit they grow is packed by Blue Bird, a grower run and owned co-operative, the Nicholsons decided in 1992 to open a small roadside fruit stand to sell fresh fruit to anyone who wanted to stop and visit their orchard. Since then they've grown a little each year, offering local fruits, local jams, jellies and preserves. Nicolson's has become a reliable supplier of locally grown fresh fruits, produce and other locally grown products.
